The Rajon Rondo era is over in Boston - as the Celtics traded its 4 time All-Star to the Dallas Mavericks for 3 players and two draft picks, one of which will be a conditional first rounder. What to make of this trade for the Boston Celtics? It's hard to know what the strategy going forward will be. The players coming to the Celtics via trade are not stars - and it's hard to imagine getting a star with that conditional first round pick (estimated to be a 15th pick at the current time) - so, bottom line - I have no idea what management is doing. Let's hope they do.
