It's been 15 years since the Nasdaq crossed the 5000 mark. I watched it happen last time and just knew the party would go on forever. It didn't. The crash was immediate and impressive. When the carnage was over, the Nasdaq cratered to near 1100 in early 2002. So, what will happen this time? Is this run at all 'bubble like'? I don't think so this time. The earnings from tech companies actually exist this time whereas last time the majority of the speculation was in companies that LOST money.
So, don't panic. It's Nasdaq 5000 and it's here to stay. I think.
