ATT was recently knocked out of the Dow Industrial Average - by Apple of all stocks, a company ATT derives a great amount of revenue from and will continue to do so. The old phone company has fallen on difficult times and the stock has been in a year long down trend. What to make of this stock? Is it still worth owning?
Remember - the core positions in the portfolio are not growth stocks. You, individual investor, should be buying dividend paying stocks. T pays a handsome dividend yield and you should own it. I wouldn't buy at current levels - wait for a another sell-off.
Short term rating = HOLD
Long term rating = BUY
