McDonald's released monthly sales today that beat lowered expectations. Fewer customers are coming through the doors in America (to the tune of 2.3% fewer) - however, analysts and investors seem ready to accept the turn-around sales job pushed by the new CEO. As for me, I'm not Lovin it. Sales missing expectations are what they are - sales that miss expectations - no matter how you spin it.
I'm certainly not advocating buying MCD at these levels. If you bought in at lower prices - it's actually a good time to sell a piece and take profits. This stock is range bound from 95 to 100 and I believe you can 'channel' (sell at 100, buy at 95) - this stock.
Short term rating = HOLD
Long term rating = HOLD
