PGoogle stock is on a rocket ship, on fire, or whatever analogy you want to use. It's set new all-time highs in 9 of the last 10 trading sessions and shows no sign of stopping. The stock is trading at 762 with a P/E of almost 34 - so the price isn't cheap under any metric, even if you allow for extra wiggle room for Google's tremendous growth potential.
All that said - don't even think of starting a new position in Google here unless you:
A - Have a high tolerance for volatility. This run will eventually see profit takers. Look at the last explosion upward - it led to a yo/yo like trading range leading into this new post-earnings release explosion.
B. Are in it for the long term. - I believe the majority of the short term gains have been realized. If you are a momentum player, best move on from Google. The winning has been done. However, if you're in it for the long term, watch for an entry into the stock.
Profit takers will eventually hit this run - if you're waiting to get into the stock, watch for it and be ready. I do not have an entry number for this stock yet as it's still 'setting the new range.' It'd just be pulling numbers out of thin air to claim otherwise.
Short term rating = HOLD
Long term rating = HOLD
