Good Afternoon,

I've upgraded the website to Weebly's Top level and added some new elements to the site, including the ability to become a member. I encourage all of my regular readers to sign up as there will be bonus content available only to those that fill out the form and register with the site.

Also, I've upgraded 'The Marketplace', adding the ability to purchase items via PayPal in addition to the credit card processor on the website (which is a secure payment processor). There are various items for sale, including the Ella Package - the print book, tee-shirt, and poster.

If you have any questions or wonder how to facilitate a purchase and when/how you will get your items, feel free to comment, email me at StephenJohnMoran@gmail.com or contact me via Facebook or Twitter. If you feel more comfortable talking via phone, message me for the phone number.

Thanks to all the readers of my website and pardon the construction!!

From Las Vegas,

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF
 BERNADETTE CYNTHIA HEALY
EPISODE 34

'Melissa and I talked about the whole situation last night after you rang, and I'm now not sure I want to know. Look what it's doing to you and it hasn't even been a week. I've never known you to be late without a reason. I've never known you to forget to bring cakes!' Polly chuckles, trying to lighten the mood, but I can feel she is going to be rather stern about this.

A couple of seconds pass as I take a bite of my croissant, giving me time to think. I wipe my lips of the few flakes after swallowing and reply, 'that's a relief. I was worried myself about what this information would do to you. It's probably for the best that I keep it to myself, Keith and the firm. We'll settle this like lawyers and I will observe from the side lines.'

'Would you really consider that?' Polly takes a small sip of tea, it's too hot and she blows on the surface creating caramel ripples in the tea cup.

'It's obviously causing you and Jack distress, which is one thing I would avoid at all costs. And yes, you're right. It is getting to me. There are just some things I can't figure out and I don't know how to find out.' I take another bite of my croissant.

            'Like what?'

'Polly, if you don't want me to continue and you don't want to know, you probably shouldn't ask questions like that!' I smile at my daughter, knowing that she has the best of intentions, but curiosity has always been one of her most prominent traits.

'You're right. But I hate to see you like this. What have you found? Tell me. We can discuss it and chew it up and spit it out and then we can leave it to Keith and the firm. You don't need to be involved. Does that sound fair?' The tea is now cool enough for her to drink.

'Are you sure? I don't want this whole situation to begin to eat at you too.'

'Mum. I said at the start of this I wanted to know. I think it was just talking to Melissa that got me thinking about what on Earth could be found. But sitting here, not knowing what's happening, when you do know? That's excruciating. I need to know. Besides,' she takes a gulp of her tea, 'a problem shared and all that.'

            'If you're sure?'

'Yes mum. Tell me. Have you found her brother? Does she even have a brother?'

'Alright. If you're sure. No I have not found her brother, but yes he does exist. And even better than that he knows that I exist, AND that I'm looking for him.' I fully intend to continue, but my daughter explodes with expletives I didn't know she knew.

'She knew this. That woman knew all along. She just wanted to screw with you head even after she died. Made it look like she'd actually won. Mum you should not continue. That's exactly what she wanted and she's making you out to be some sort of nosy widow who can't let go of the past. Screw the money, as wonderful and as useful as it would be, we don't need it. All you need to do is forget about her. Put this bitch and her fucked up family out of your head and live your life.'

I wait, unsure if the tirade is over or not and am tempted by another croissant. This time with an orange marmalade instead of just butter.

Readers,

It's been a crazy few weeks since the birth of our first child, Kiana. The wife and I couldn't be happier! Kiana is in good health and seems happy and content as a baby can be in the first weeks of life.

Unfortunately, I haven't been well and have been forced to miss both work and writing these last few weeks, which is putting a strain on the finances for sure.

Therefore, it's time for a book sale for baby - to raise money to pay da bills!!!

I'm offering the following sales of the print version of the ELLA book.

To those outside the local Vegas area - 1 book for 12 Dollars or 2 for 20, signed and shipped.

For Vegas area locals - 1 book for ten dollars and two for 15, signed.

If you want a package of books, let me know! Message me on Facebook or by e-mail at StephenJohnMoran@gmail.com

From Las Vegas,

Have a great night!

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF
 BERNADETTE CYNTHIA HEALY
EPISODE 33

The girls, Clare and Sonia, are at the door as I arrive a full twenty seven minutes later than I intended. They wave simultaneously, but I notice that Clare glances at her watch. I feel a little guilty as I walk towards them, and I apologise profusely, hoping they can delay their working days for me a little while longer.
'Grandma, you're late!' Sonia laughs in surprise as she reaches out to hug me and plants a kiss on my cheek. She's known as our last-minute-Annie so no doubt she is enjoying it being me this time.

'Yes, yes. It can happen to anyone you know. Now give me a hug and a kiss and I'll see you on your way. I suppose I can't tempt you to be late for college...'

'Or work?' Clare interjects. 'Sorry Grandmum, no such luck for me. I love you, but I really have to go.' She too places a kiss on my cheek, but neglects to give me a hug and manages to pass by me without doing so.

'Sorry girls. I'll try and see you both another time, maybe this weekend?'

They nod and rush away, their lives far more interesting than spending time with their old Grandmother.

I enter the house, hearing that Polly is in the kitchen and allow myself a moment of composure. I'm not sure why I as so eager to share all the information I have found. Won't this while debacle bring up some traumatic memories that my children had to live through all over again?

'Mum?' Polly's voice interrupts my panicked thoughts and I respond with a quick 'coming dear'.

Polly is sitting at the kitchen counter, croissants and jams lie atop the wooden surface, beckoning me to enter.

'Oh I am sorry I was so late Polly. Traffic was dreadful and I completely forgot what it was like at this time in the morning. The girls won't be too disappointed will they?' I do feel terrible.

'I wouldn't worry about it mum. They see you all the time, and we'll probably be around this weekend if you're not off sleuthing your heart out. Have a croissant. They're the ones you like from the market. Dan got them for me yesterday. I notice that you didn't manage to bring any cakes of your own?'

'That was lovely of him. Yes, apologies, it seems I'm not quite all there today.' I frown, wondering if there's anything else I've forgotten in my old age.
Polly rummages with her back to me in silence. I pick up a plate and begin to butter a croissant, waiting to see how my daughter will react. Eventually she turns and places a tea tray in between us on the counter, next to the jams.

'I suppose it was only ever going to turn out this way,' she states rather matter-of-factly.

'Meaning?' and I feel sure I've somehow lost the thread of this already convoluted conversation.
