I saw a post on Facebook from Z R Southcombe about drawings of coloring book pages and got to talking with her - and she drew this amazing scene out of Ella - when Ella visits Holden Farms for the first time. I think it's just so cool and can't thank Zee enough. I highly encourage other writers to try this. Contact Zee to get one of your own!

I will indeed color this and take photo/post the final result. Yes, that means I'll have to buy crayons as I do not own any at present!!

To those in Vegas that wish to attend this book giveaway and charity event, there are two ways to get an invite! The first is to make a donation of a non-perishable good to Three Square Las Vegas - which is a food program in the Vegas Valley. The second is to purchase a children's book for donation to a local literacy organization. We want to make this a fun night and a success for local charitable causes!!

HOW TO QUALIFY FOR THE GIVEAWAY IF YOU CAN'T ATTEND THE EVENT OR DO NOT LIVE IN VEGAS

I've said on several occasions by tweet and Facebook post that the giveaway/charity event at Books or Books on October 20th will give chances to those that can't participate live and in person (ie those in Vegas that night) - a chance to win prizes.

That evening will be broadcast live on Periscope or at least parts of it will - and certainly some of the giveaways will be live cast to give people from online around the world a chance to win.

Here are the details of how to qualify for the online portion of the giveaway. First - sign up for my site - It's the first thing you see if you scroll down on mobile below this post and the top tab on the right if you are on a desktop. If you have trouble finding the spot to sign up, leave a comment on this post or email me at [email protected] with your name and email and I'll manually sign you up for this site.

GREAT GATSBY THEMED PARTY AND PAPERBACK GIVEAWAY/CHARITY AUCTION

The Paperback Giveaway I've been tweeting/Facebooking about will happen at a Great Gatsby Themed Literary Event to be held at Books or Books in Las Vegas on October 20th, 2015. There will be piles of paperback books given and some donated/sold for charity - the promise that everyone that attends will receive at least *one* paperback novel with the chance to win much more!
