The photographs of the incoming House of Representatives elect for the 116th Congress are striking and tell a story more powerful than my words. The incoming Democrats look like America as it is - and as it will be. Many races, creeds, and ideologies standing together to represent a diverse nation. The other - the GOP photo - represents America's past. All white men with the exception of one white woman. This is the past, when only white Christian males had a seat at the tables of power.
To wit - 90% of the GOP House of Representatives caucus is comprised of white males. Is that America?
